Locksmith courses saturate market with hundreds of new unvetted Locksmiths

Since the start of the recession, many locksmiths with the lack of incoming work decided to change direction and
offer locksmith courses for anyone to wanted to train as a locksmith.

There are now more than 70 locksmith training courses running throughout the UK, turning out hundreds of new
  locksmiths each week.

Many of these are not criminal checked or police vetted and so with the design of a simple website and an online
pressence are able to trade within this security sector easily.
Many do not display an address on their website and have only a mobile number.

Is this really sensible to allow someone to change the locks to your home/premises when you really do not know who
they are or where they trade from?!

Following lots of research and hearing worried comments from various clients regarding their experiences we would
like to advise all prospective clients in need of their locks changed to be vigilant when choosing a locksmith to
visit your home and provide you with new keys and to make sure they are infact police vetted.

At D K Locksmiths & Sons we would like to inform of our locksmith vetting history:-

Locksmiths individually finger printed and registered as Locksmiths, with Metropolitan & Essex Police database

D K Locksmiths & Sons, vetted as Locksmiths & personal checks with the Australian government to obtain a visa
& work/trade in Australia as Locksmiths in 2007

Please call Lisa in customer care for more advice and your free quotation.
